HOW THIS WORKS STEP BY STEP:
Client Portal Submission & Quality Check
- After reviewing your application, if selected you'll be contacted and get access to the client portal.
- Inside the client portal is the project details form for you to send us your Project.
- You MUST send your audio files in 24hrs after gaining access to the portal or you're spot will be given to another artist.
- Export all the audio files (Vocals, Instrumentals, Beat Stems, etc.) of your project in .wave or .mp3 formats.
How to do this in: FL Studio | Pro Tools | Ableton - Put everything into a folder, compress it into a zip folder, and paste your secure download link in the form.
- After the files are sent, we will thoroughly review them to make sure we have everything we need to ensure maximum quality (labeled as "Files Review").
- When the files are approved, the 1 day maximum delivery countdown for the first version of the mix (MIX V1) begins.
Mixing & Unlimited Revisions
- After we complete Mix Version 1 (MIXV1), it will be sent to you for review in the client portal (we send through Dropbox).
- If it sounds great, you approve that version inside the portal, and we immediately begin Mastering.
- If it's not quite there yet, you provide us with detailed feedback on what needs to be changed in the portal.
- After we receive your notes, we begin the second version of the mix (MIXV2); another 1 day maximum delivery begins.
- This process repeats until the song sounds exactly as you planned, going until the song is dope.
Mastering & Final Delivery
- When the mix is fully approved, the Mastering of the song begins. After we complete Master Version 1 (MASTERV1), it will be sent to you for review in the portal.
- If it is great, approve that version, and your song will be officially ready for all streaming platforms.
- If it's not what you wanted, send us detailed feedback. We will begin MASTERV2 with another 1-day delivery window. This repeats until it is perfect.
- When the first version of the master (MASTERV1) is sent, the alternate versions of the mix (Acapella, Instrumental) will also be sent based on the final approved mix version.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
In the project details form that is in the client portal you must paste a Google Drive or Dropbox link with a compressed (zip) folder with all the audio files of the project.
We only receive audio files; wave (.wav) or MP3 (.mp3). Please export all the audio files of your session.
Please export all the audio files of the project separately without any type of effects (vocals, background vocals, adlibs, 808s, kick, snare, melody, hihats, etc.)
We exclusively use Protools, because in our opinion it is the most confortable for mixing and mastering.
In the client portal you will be able to approve or add revision notes to the version of the song that we send you. After we receive your notes we will make those adjustments and send the next version until you are 100% satisfied with the final version.
Yes 100%. We use autotune or manual pitch correction, depending on what the project needs.
We exclusively only work with Hip hop related projects. This is because each genre has specific necessities and we specialize in Hip hop to maintain 100% focused on its quality.
We can improve the quality of any recording. However the final product could be limited because of a bad recording. This depends on what is wrong with the recording. For best quality a good recording is necessary.
We will use the references tracks that you send us through the project details form and match that sound. However this depends largely on the quality of the recordings and sound selection.
Mixing is processing each individual audio file of the project and combining them so they reach an industry level sound. Mastering is when we use that final track, make it sound louder and format it so its ready for streaming platforms.
These are the individual audio tracks of the entire project without any type of effects.
Of course, this is what the revisions are for. After the version is uploaded for you in the Client Portal, you can send review notes which we'll follow for the next version of that song.
There are unlimited revisions. We will work on the song until it just how you want it.
We will prioritize achieving the loudness required from streaming platforms of -8 to -14 LUFS. But we can go as loud possible before distorting and damaging the final product. All depending on the customers preference.
